In a strategic move to advance healthcare services in Saudi Arabia, GE HealthCare, a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator, has pledged to equip all hospitals and medical centers under the Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Services Group with cutting-edge imaging, ultrasound, and patient care solutions. The collaboration aims to empower clinicians, enhance patient outcomes, and elevate the overall quality of healthcare delivery.

As part of a new partnership with HMG, a prominent hospital chain in Saudi Arabia and the region, 13 hospitals and eight medical centers, including two state-of-the-art facilities, will benefit from a range of reliable and robust healthcare technologies. This includes advanced imaging solutions, diagnostic cardiology, monitoring solutions, and maternal-infant care products.

The future 330-bed West Jeddah Hospital and the 500-bed North Riyadh Hospital, the largest private hospital in the Kingdom, will feature state-of-the-art technology such as two MRI SIGNA Voyager, two Revolution Apex Elite CT, four C-arms, two BMD, and the first Discovery MI 6 ring PET/CT in Saudi Arabia.

GE HealthCare’s contribution extends beyond imaging technology, encompassing a broad spectrum of Patient Care Solutions innovations. The deployment of GE HealthCare’s Portrait Mobile, a wearable monitoring solution for real-time personalized patient views, will be implemented at 80 hubs across eight hospitals, ensuring efficient monitoring during surgical and procedural care.

Mohammad El-Khoury, General Manager Saudi Arabia, GE HealthCare, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing the shared commitment to transforming healthcare practices in alignment with Vision 2030 goals. The collaboration focuses on co-creating innovative programs and delivering specialized tools to enhance operational workflows and set new standards for patient-centric care.

Faisal Al-Nassar, Chief Executive of Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Services Group, highlighted the collaboration’s objective to introduce advanced technology that plays a pivotal role in delivering optimum care to patients. The investment in comprehensive diagnostic and monitoring equipment is expected to strengthen operational efficiencies and contribute to a more convenient and accessible delivery of care across medical facilities.

GE HealthCare and HMG underscore the importance of robust regional collaborations to advance healthcare in Saudi Arabia, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by fostering innovation and providing an integrated continuum of care.
